“When I was an ultra marathoner, I loved running far and in the woods and in my town. But, then I suffered an injury eventually having both of my knees replaced. So I looked for something that gave me back what I had when I was running. And I found that in Nordic Walking! NW gave me back:
• the feeling of running,
• enjoyment of being outside and getting free vitamin D from the sun,
• exercise for my titanium knees so they are not so stiff,
• less stress on my knee joints too,
• my runner’s high,
• solitude so I can talk to God, contemplate life and listen to good music all in a beautiful setting,
• better health, weight management,
• an outlet for stress and improvement of my outlook on life while building strength and self-confidence,
• and a smile on my face.

So truck on Nordic Walkers. contemplate life…. and have fun doing it.
