Ladies and Gentlemen,
A tip of the hat to all the mothers out there. Happy Days are here again.
My observation is that MOST of you are women. When I teach a class…if it’s not ALL women, there is only 1 man. And his wife made him come. I salute you ladies who are out there exercising.
Men reach an age when the can no longer run a mile or press 100 pounds over their head. So instead they do remote control lifts and 16 oz curls in front of the TV.
I get emails from students who love their new found fitness routine. Walk off the calories….I make no guarantees. But if you keep at it -and don’t lollygag, you will see those results. I mean … pick up your pace.
I am happy to see women walking around the block on their lunch break. But many are just strolling yacking with a friend or immersed in their smart phone. Pick it up!! Walk like you are trying to catch a bus. And Nordic Walk the same way. It is a “workout” after all. So work!
Once again, good job, mom! Take Sunday off – permission granted to keep the poles in the closet. make sure he takes you out!
