November in Buffalo
LEKI is the world’s largest maker of Nordic Walking poles. The recent blizzards (one after another) have left many parts of the city under 4+ feet of snow.
The USA operation of the German maker is located there. All business in the States is conducted out of Buffalo. With the hazardous roads, police have advised everyone to stay off of them. That means LEKi as well.
They have put the phones on “record” mode and advise that we should check the website for updates. Apparently a few hardy souls must be skiing in as they are still picking-and-pulling orders ready to ship.
UPS and FED EX were shut down so if you have any on order, you will have a wait. They will be back in action today as there is a short break. Rain next. I do have a small stock in my warehouse in Sunny California and may be able to help you out. Send me a note.
We are having a big “Turkey Trot” footrace here in San Jose-by-the-sea with 22,000 expected and many will be using Nordic Walking poles.
Oh, it will be 65 here today. Ahhhh
