On this website I do my best to keep you informed about the benefits of doing Nordic Walking. We are limited here by space and your time. I think many of you sneak reads when you are working. Therefore, I try to keep them short.
However, if you want to get a very good orientation to the activity of Nordic Walking, I suggest Claire Walter’s book: Nordic Walking: The Complete Guide to Health, Fitness, and Fun. It’s a nice summary of the history and evolution of Nordic Walking from Finland to Europe to the world. It’s estimated that upwards of 8 million folks do it in Europe.
I’m still waiting for it to explode in the USA. Standing by. Anyway, the book is 177 pages and told me what I needed to know. If you are hooked you may want to learn more. If you really love it and want to be an instructor, we’ll talk about that in a future epistle.
